Many people have already said you can't play that high pressing game season after season especially with 4 comps. And most certainly not when you don't have oil money to buy world class backupsb for every position.

You can't compare to the game decades back either.

Also by your logic we really should fuck off henderson because he can't play that way anymore. So he's now useless to us in every aspect (except shouting).

Both teams with 8 attempts, 5-1 on target.

Utter garbage at either end of the pitch

None would be in a starting XI for any top six club anymore.

None of our cms would start in a top 6 midfield. Thiago probably make the bench in a few. That’s it. It’s a bottom 6 midfield

We tried that - & Guess what happened… they tried it and players broke down. Also you cannot just play the same way and expect other sides to never figure you out.

    It doesn’t work like that.
Thing is they're still breaking down...

At this point, as it was in 2021 it is simply down to application. A bit of fucking effort.

We have seen them in the 11 recently. We know. Often turning winning positions into draws and drawing positions into losses

And that’s the most disappointing thing. Heads are gone, desire and belief is gone. When a manager can’t motivate a side anymore the end is near no matter who he is. If this wasn’t FSG Klopp would be on the chopping block no doubt.

The thing about automation and players belief in it and what they're doing is it builds up, it's a created over time element to teams and players play, when you break it up and persistently and incredibly throw the baby out with the bath water so ridiculously in pursuit of some kind of ideal way of playing when what you're already doing has made you the best in the world, you're going to run into sever problems

Jurgen has broken down every single highly functioning working piece of automation or relationship pursuing an ideal and his fantasy of an all singing all dancing tappy crappy side made tick by his wet dream fantasy of Thiago that has never, not even in a single game come close to materialising, we do NOT have the fucking players to play that way and even Shitty adopted most of what we were doing far better than them after their thrashing in 19-20

Wolves are first to everything all over the pitch, even 2nd balls.
