Man City could get relegated, forced into selling all their players and generate enough from the sales to have a side that would be back in the Champion's League within a couple of seasons.
Their player-hoarding over the years has been outrageous. Similar with how Chelsea used to buy all the youth talent and have 90 or so youngsters out on loan - only need a couple of big successful sales to get huge chunks of the money back.
I know that levelling the playing field a bit is a nuanced issue but I do naively hope for a day where things are better and Man City need the book thrown at them.

Enough of the BS. They were guilty of the UEFA charges and we know they are guilty of these charges too. Their meteoric rise was 100% at odds with FFP and the so called rules of the Premier league. It’s taken 4 years… now there HAS to be a punishment!’n
