I don't think he's what we need at No6, he looks miles better at LCM than anyone else we've played there post Gini, plays some decent attempted longer balls and switches that need a lot of work to be fair, but that Gini didn't have at all, but he plays some lovely little cute progressive forward passes to create attacks that we all hoped and expected Thiago would provide

1-0 HT, best half of us being 'like Liverpool' in a very long time

Over to Jurgen to make sure we're more 'like Liverpool' second half, bit more intensity needed without the ball and quality with it from all 3 forwards for a starts and dare I say, administer a bumming

He’s got good vision. But he’s also disciplined at least on this performance. Nicely in position to stop them breaking the press a few times that half. Tbf we’ve played well in midfield tonight. I reckon Bobby on in the middle and we’d open them up like sardines.

Prickford clearly thought the ball was going to Gakpo…

    …Which was nice..

It will get nervous later on unless we ca. get an early goal. You know they will play for free kicks etc..

Worried about injuries in the second half

Much much better half from the reds, playing like that we get top 4

Excellent half from Robbo, Bajcetic, Núñez (absolute beast) Hendo and Mo.

    Still don’t get Gakpo.

Keep it together, no silly free kicks given away in our own half or corners and we’ll be fine here. The defending for the corner when they hit the post was absolutely laughable.

Come on reds, 2 or 3-0 please.

Second half imminent, come the FUCK on Liverpool, let's be a bit better this half, better decisions and work rate from all 3 forwards for a start, administer the bumming, get the win and another absolutely vital 3 points here tonight

Gakpo hasn’t been great but he has tangled up the BS in the middle leaving space for Nunez and Mo to operate.

Jota the Slota - Salah and Nunez. That would be the strongest front line we have had in ages.

We need teams to start worrying about us again, that’s a huge part of what we have lost.
