This season is another perfect storm of everything that can go wrong, has…. injuries to key players in key positions, suspensions, loss of belief, new signings struggling and not hitting the ground running, the loss of Mane, loss of confidence coupled with poor decisions on and off the pitch by our players, our Manager our owners and dare i say it referees…

All of the above has resulted in all our players, imho simply overthinking everything… instead of keeping faith with the principles that have stood us in good stead for so long…. there is now a hesitation in our thought processes and with each passing poor performance this has simply got worse and worse with each passing game .

Now instead of receiving glowing praise from every section of the media, questions are being asked every week about every player, even our tried and tested best players, are under close scrutiny… and unfortunately they have all wilted very badly…

I can only compare it to learning how to drive, you have lots of lessons you are driving with confidence everything is coming natural, but then its the day of your test, nerves and anxiety take over, you start to overthink everything and suddenly its as though you have never driven before and if you happen to make one mistake you get total brain fade and you end up driving like an absolute spanner….

Hopefully against Everton, we can learn to relax again, regain our confidence and belief and just breathe and remember that you don't’ become bad players overnight….

Fingers crossed tonight is our turning point .. 🤞🤞
