In the press and counter press it's shocking, other players aren't coming into when they should be or as they used to be
if you have a player say inside left and one wide left - a presser looking to make the inside left player go to the player down the line - when the inside left player passes it to that player down the line and the player who made him go wide goes to form a 2 to defend the wide player, one of the other players then has to simultaneously come quickly to the passer to stop the ball going back to him - And it never happened as it should or as it did in our pomp in any situation
That's how you rob the ball successfully quite often with good pressing and counter pressing, it's frequently 1v1 or 2v2 in a way and then a second or third player comes quickly into the press making it a 2v1 or 3v2 so you can nick it
