Nice movement and interplay, no end product. Need a strong second half.

Unfortunately all too predictable after an excellent midweek display, 2-1 in attempts on target after having 85% possession is really poor.

Agree. Actually looking forward to seeing more of the player he can be like v arsenal and Leeds. In this game he has literally stopped while running forward twice to double back for a look with nobody near him. Doesn’t work for us. Hopefully better second half.

Trent being totally man marked by Danilo throughout the game. He is never more than a metre away from him and has obviously been told that is his total remit fir this game. Trent will have to get used to it.
Needs someone to come on who can beat a man in a tight area. I am thinking Diaz.

That's his problem, not doing it consistently. He is taking the safe option everytime today.

Get thiago on for him in this game.

Really poor pedestrian lame half from our lads, reminiscent of too many games last season when we play far too slow and laboured and predictable in front of sides for far too much of some games. It is so desperately slow and there are no runs in behind or variation

It's up to Jurgen to change that at HT and make sure we mix it up more, we ask more questions, do a damned site more to disrupt Forest's well drilled and rehearsed rear guard action, as playing side to side, as slowly as we have been, taking 3 passes to get from left to right to Mo for example is just making it really easy for Forest, and it's frustrating as fuck to watch

We have Diaz and Nunez in reserve, Diaz will make the runs off the back of players and outside in runs from LFWD and has the beating of players and works as hard as Jota without the ball, so he would be my first attacking sub at LFWD

We need to drop Hendo deeper, get him to drop into the deeper lying position Trent's continually man marked in to let Trent have the acres of space more advance right that's always open ahead of Konate, Mo needs to fucking stay up top where he can make runs in behind, wander across their line a little so he's playing off their LB, LCB and CB at different times, again that alone will make it less easier for Forest because he can make a short run off any of them, we can look to find Gakpo in the space in front of him and then their defender who would go to Gakpo but has Salah with him has decisions to make

Over to Jurgen to make sure we're a LOT better second half, have more penetration, move the ball quicker, be more direct at times, mix it up a lot more and break Forest's shape and well rehearsed rear guard action because we did not do nearly enough to do that through the entire first half, the only time we really did that was when Virgil played a direct long diagonal to find Mo in a bit of space for once towards the end of a first half, rather than taking 3 or 4 passes to work it to him

Second half imminent, come the fucking FUCK on Liverpool, variation, intensity, movement, runs in behind, 3 points here today is an absolute necessity, get the fucking win
