Difficult for Spurs that.

Normally I would be saying that getting big money for someone of his age would welcome an opportunity to reshape the squad, but with the market the way it is I don't think they can do very much with that fee unless they find cheap gems at youth level or lads from South America.

Looking at the League you'd have to say that most of the sides they're competing with for a Champion's League spot are (probably) better than them, or on an upward trajectory (Newcastle, Villa) of sorts at the moment.

They might not see Champion's League football for a while. I'd probably find that a Hell of a lot funnier if 3 of the sides blocking their path weren't Man City, Newcastle and Chelsea.

It really will depend on who they buy. For example, we sold Coutinho and got much stronger.

We also sold Torres and bought Andy Carroll.

At the moment they won't be able to bring in one of the best around so it'll be a gamble on someone. Could work for them obviously but aside from Kane that team needs plenty of work elsewhere too.
