Frustrated Jurgen Klopp reveals he doesn't have control over transfer activity


Jurgen Klopp has said that he is not in charge of transfer decisions.
However, the boss added that it's not something he thinks about either.
The lack of centre-back signings might cost Liverpool the chance to compete for major honours this season.
“These decisions are not my decisions. If somebody thinks we should do something [they will decide],” Klopp said in his post-match press conference.

“I cannot decide if we do something in the transfer window or not, that must be clear. But that’s not something I’m thinking about.”

Despite the injuries finally catching up with Liverpool, there seems to be no indication that the club is moving for a centre-back in January.

Though Klopp also accepted responsibility for the loss against Burnley, this is the first time the Reds boss has expressed his discontent with transfers.

Yes, you are clueless. Klopp won't make those 3 signings in Jan. IMO that's because he doesn't need them, rather than anything to do with FSG. But if he did need and want them, he'd have to agree it with the owners.
