    What a difference Diaz direct running makes. Like having Mané back - in his pomp. Worth a couple of goals a game on its own that.

    It's funny you should say this - his early performances suggested a real forward-thinking player and I remember feeling he was being coached to play "safer" as he would often get games in the "Wijnaldum" role for us - his job often seemed to be to always be available and to keep it fairly simple.

    He's been thriving in our recent set-up. If he can stay fit next season I guess we'll get a better indication of exactly what "type" of player he is.

    A midfielder who is more than a facilitator - a proper player. Something we have needed more of for years. Had we had it we would have won double what we have imho.
