Yeah if it comes down to goal difference Newcastle will have two draws and a win - hopefully a narrow one goal win so be on 33. We're on 28 so we'd need like two 3 goal wins. It's been a while since anyone put more than one past Aston Villa...

If we absolutely HAD to on the final day, I would back us to get a decent scoreline win against Southampton but I really don't want to be in that situation.

Poch could be in charge for the Utd Chelsea game.

Be good if he was. But feel they might save him for next season..

Right now I would take any win against villa. A last minute scrappy goal will do it.

Looking at their last 3 away games, they have drawn one (Brentford) and lost 2 (United and wolves). Both losses were 1-0. It will be a tough game but at home and the chance for top 4 shoukd see us through.

I agree that would be nerve shredding. We'll know more after Newcastle v Brighton...

The Geordie fans sound like they want it wrapped up in their next two matches rather than needing something on the last day away at Chelsea.

Yep, any win would hopefully set us up for the last day. Villa are still chasing 6th spot, level with Spurs and they'll know the result of Spurs v Brentford when they play us.

Think some of the lads need a rest.

    Adrian

    Milner Gomez Van Dijk Robertson

    Trent Keita Carvalho

    Jota Bobby Nunez

A sentimental final farewell appearance for Keita in front of the Kop? Nice.
