Sounds like it’ll be flat out 24/7 until it’s ready. Sparks getting 2.5k per week for the 7 weeks of nights after tax apparently. Worth it for that like.

Said on the radio the safe standing would add 3,000 to the capacity

    Not sure about that.

What a bunch of small time fuckwits. Banking billions on the club as collateral while making us pay interest on stand upgrades aimed squarely at corporates & that barely dent the ST waiting list! The net result is a dogs dinner of a stadium. A total mess.

When the rump following wake up out of their daydream and realise how much of a fucking ride they have been taken on by these leeches - it will be way too late.

And this is what a proper redevelopment looks like BTW….

    Visit Madrid.

    Visit.

Also there is Camp Nou. Ambition. Something our fucktard bankers don’t even register.

FYI Camp Nou will go from 99,000 to 105,000.

It will be very impressive once done. Funding it via borrowing €1.5 billion ($1.64 billion) for the "Espai Barca" project which will be being paid back in instalments over up to 24 years is definitely not a model I'd personally want to pursue, particularly when they're still in debt of €1.35 billion euros ($1.48 billion) outside of the stadium project - but if it (eventually) ends up working out for them and there's nothing shady about it, who am I to question it?

What I'd love to know is who the 20 (as yet) unnamed investors are who funded the €1.5 billion they're borrowing and I'd be curious as to how/where those investors make their money back - certainly aren't raising their media profile if they're anonymous.

Real Madrid's project looks very impressive.

True Sid, that does sound strange on the financials.

What I do like though is the dedication to getting as many fans in to see the team as possible, that and the drive towards state of the art facilities. These (Barca and Real) are clubs that are built and run FOR the fans first and foremost.
