What a legend and driving force behind every success we've had under Jurgen we've had Hendo has been, could have been so much more too had Jurgen not binned off the incredible evolution made in 19-20 in Fab's absence to bring Fab back in too

Fuck all to do with City getting record points tally plus cheating.
    But carry on.

A great captain, whose won it all at LFC. But let's not pretend he and his notions of being an attacker rather than a water carrier didn't play a massive part in our decline under Klopp.
Klopp takes his share of the burden naturally.

Jurgen is the driving force Nineteenx, Hendo was a reliable cog in his red machine. There are plenty of players in world football capable of replacing what he offered. Jurgen on the other hand is a generational talent and completely irreplaceable.

If they wanted him so bad....why did we sell him so cheap?

£12m is cheap for the player and his experience never mind the marketing value for them signing the "Liverpool captain" but it's more than we would get for him next year so that's FSG learning a lesson from Ox/Phillips.

Originally Hendo's wages were quoted at £700k per week, last night I've read it's £350k. Whatever.

He didn't quite win it all but he won more than Clint Dempsey.

Let’s be honest, Hendo was shocking last season and at his age it’s unlikely he would have improved this year, or no way Klopp is letting him go.

Had we known all this Saudi nonsense was coming we would probably have kept Milly. He was a great influence on the dressing room and someone for the younger players and new signings to learn from.

It’s the draining away of old heads and experience that worries me, we haven’t lost any footballing ability that can’t be replaced.

Yep. Big fan of his and really couldn’t have imagined how important he would become under klopp.
But he had reached the end of the road last season when his legs completely went and with it his ability to influence games at all.
Been a great player for us to be fair. Best of luck to him.
