It will be difficult though I like the look of the new players. We might surprise a few if the team can click. Gakpo, Mac Allister, Bajcetic, Szoboszlai and Nunez all have serious potential.

Thiago i suppose could be of use after 3 years of being a complete flop, employed at RCM in a midfield of

    Mac Allister Enzo Thiago

And absolutely not employed as a designated playmaker

We never once got to see the Gini Hendo Thiago midfield, Thiago's best games for us were at RCM and the line up i suggest is the closest we've had to the best midfield we never saw since

I think our £60m man will be starting virtually every week

    Conceding will be.

Losing 5 midfielders has made it go from one extreme to another.
You don't build a league title challenge like that.
Midfield needed an addition or 2 each year for 3 years.
The club will then try to sell us "new contract signed" blabla.

Mac Allister and Szobozsai need to have a huge season and injury free.
Jones, Elliot, Morton ? , Clark the rest of our Midfield.
    Game 2 of the season.
This is really amateur preparation for this season.
Missing out on Tchouameni Bellingham Caicedo Lavia is getting embarrassing.

Prediction Fifth or 6th , above that would be a surprise.
Man c, Arsenal, Newcastle, are ahead.

    Man u v Liverpool for 4th.

Villa Spurs won't finish top 4.
    I didn't mention Chelsea.
I forgot to say that our 1-1 away at Chelsea doesn't mean much. Because we are in transition, whereas Chelsea are in huge transition.
Still their best players is 39yo Thiago Silva.

I think Americans think you just chuck money at it, chuck together a squad of 25 players .
    And off you go.
Chelsea first mistake was sacking Tuchel.
    You'd expect Chelsea improvement.
But top 4 would be a surprise, especially as their French forward got injured . Forget his name Nkuku sp.

    Liverpool frailty still apparent.
    Fighting for 4th my prediction.
Hoping too that Endo Mac and Szoboz stay fit and suspension free.
