Match Thread : Greuter Furth v Liverpool

Starting 11 for today’s pre season friendly

    Alisson,
Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Alexander-Arnold, Mac Allister,
    Gakpo; Doak, Diaz, Jota

Not sure how they’re lining up, four forwards names so gone with 4-2-4 however unlikely

I could foresee Gakpo being used as the 8 (or 10, depending on how you want to call it) on the very odd occasion.

    Lovely goal from Luis Diaz.
Don't see much involvement from Macca. I had the same feeling in the last game too, but a lot of people seemed to think he had a great game.
Doak looks like he will be terrorising full backs in the prem next year.

Doak must be pretty close to the first team squad.

Great goal by Nunez. Great combination play from Nunez, Salah and harvey elliot.

Is this game against these particular 2nd tier German opponents - perhaps - synonymous with our target for the season?

    Bloody hope not

Another really good goal from Nunez. Playing different from the first half, quick breakaway transitions. 3-1.
Nunez and Salah seem to have a great understanding.
Greuter Furth trying to play a high line, but it's making them suffer.
