Wow. Later in the game, another challenge by Gordon, this time very similar to MacAllister’s, nothing. They even did a VAR check and nothing.

Absolute farce the referees in our League

And then Bruno on Foden, way way worse than MacAllister, yellow.

    Unbefuckinlievable.

Said the same when I saw the second one on Gordon. It’s total bullshit the state of referees.

Best transfer from the Bundesliga since Bobby.

Watched Endo today, it’s early days but I feel he’s lacks pace and strength for the prem. it’s all good when we are 3-1 up but I don’t see him offering anything that Milner couldn’t do.

We were a fucking shambles in that opening 20 minutes. I really don’t know what’s going through their heads. I can only imagine it’s a touch of arrogance.

Haven’t seen the red card incident; I can’t seem to find a decent video of it. But I doubt it’s worth appealing it. We’re never going to get anywhere with these bent officials. That said, they did give us a very soft penalty.

Loads of room for improvement. It would be nice to get someone in before the Newcastle game.

On a positive note, the Anfield Road end is looking pretty good.

7 years his junior with an impeccable (so far!) injury record.

If Endo is replacing Milner as a utility man and Szoboszlai is replacing Henderson as one of the 8s in our system, we've (probably) managed quite well in terms of recruitment.

Far, far too early to heap praise on them of course, but baby steps.

I hear you loud and clear, but it’s a bit early to be writing the guy off. I don’t think he’s had a training session yet. He’s spent the last few days transferring to a new club in a new country. I actually don’t think his pace is an issue. He seems pretty quick to me. Strength is a bit subjective, but guys like Modric have coped without being particularly strong.

Like you say, it’s early days. Let’s judge him when he’s played half a dozen games in a settled starting 11.

Yep he's a big strong athlete too which is something the midfield has really lacked. Bellingham would have been great but in Szoboszlai we've probably got the next best
