Indeed but in the incidences he was in orthodox RB. But agree. Klopp needs to ditch the inverted concept as we have 3 players as outlets Maca, Sz8 and Gakpo.

I really don’t know what position he is really best at tbh. It’s not RB and he feels too lightweight for midfield to me. He is a major issue. I’d rather lose Trent than Mo to transfer.

Shoutout to Matip with a horrible passion into Mo, Mo also with a bad pass to Trent and Trent who only thinks about attacking didn't think about hoofing it as basics of football dictates, cause it was 2 bad passes and normally you coach clearance.

If he had been slightly wider like a normal RB. he wouldnt have been that close to the centre back. Bother confused at their positioning

I never thought in a million ears that I'd say this, but at what point do we start looking at Trent as the problem. Take him out and replace him with a standard defensive RB and we have a tremendous attacking squad with defence that doesn't have to worry about covering all the time. Then just some CB cover and we're solid.

Plus, he's one of Klopp's favorites, and like every manager we've had in the modern era, Jurgen has his blind spots with players with clearly OBVIOUS (....to everyone else) shortcomings, that hurt the team but whom he'll never drop even when they need dropping.

We've been saying forever now that we need some cover on that right flank in the form of a proper and natural defense-first Rightback that Klopp can turn to, and who if nothing else would offer some real competition to Trent and push him and as a reminder whenever he has these brainfarts of his (that seem to be every game now)

Debate all you want about that first yellow, but what's the excuse and explaining away with that second foul after that for which he easily could have gotten a second yellow and seen us playing with 9 men?

Jurgen makes Trent vice captain. to make Trents ego even larger..Lets face it. Trent has no intentions of ever being a right back any longer "hes decided" he wants to play centrally even if deep.

Klopp is hoping for 2018-2020 Trent, not real using it was the overall machine that allowed individuals to thrive. Giving, Hendo and Fab was beast, Virgil and Matip or Joe were iron and the overall press was unplayable. Bobby was a nightmare to the opposition 6. So that caused a flying Trent as he was covered. Same either Robertson his crossing was never good enough but cause we were creating so much it got covered.
