You dont have to play Szoboszlai in ever game in the attacking midfield role.. Gravenberch can play in some games.
wasnt Szoboszlai mostly a right side attacker in his career? bring him on and push Salah central in games as well.

we do have and yes...


It infuriates me at times when we play long and its easily cut out. but i do get the reasoning. when teams defend deep we try and pen them into their own area and try and get second balls. At least we arent playing in front of them and over playing.
With having such attack minded midfielders they try and get the second balls and hopefully get a shot away.

Just wish we didnt lose the ball so often as well. leads to counter attacks. but then with teams countering does open up space to break into on the counter attack ourselves.

Like today and Luton Trent is wasted at full back as teams put 10 men behind the ball and hope to hit us on the break after a mistake in our possession. Go 3 at the back against the shite and go all out attack !!

When playing low block weaker teams we really should be ready for the counter from every attack, that’s their game plan and it’s hardly a secret.

He was - bloody good at it as well.

Thing about Szoboszlai is that he gets through a powerful amount of defensive work - gives Trent a bit of license. I'm not sure anyone else in the squad (just now) matches him in the right-sided 8 at the moment, though I do think we need to be careful not to burn him out.
