Yep. He has definitely given us ammunition.
Hopefully he's eating humble pie for his tea on Sunday.

Liverpool have a 10-0 aggregate from the second halves of games so far this season.

When people say Thursday Sunday is much harder than Wednesday Saturday, I never really understood that. What's the thinking there?

It seems daft but I think it's backed up by results/data. Same amount of rest days etc so it's odd that it actually is different.

Not too surprising as it’s usually teams who were ok ish finishing top 6 with no European football last season, then get’s stretched by the travel and additional games, then the results fall away.

We were really poor, gravenberch looks class. We were bullied a bit but class showed. They gave it all for 70 min then fell apart , that’s why class like Mo found it a doddle.

There needs to be a lot of improvement. But i think we are getting back to more of our old selves. last season we dominated first half of games and ran out of steam. i prefer us to end up being the dominant team in the second half of games
Obviously need to be more controlled in the first 45 minutes we are letting in to many chances for the opposition

Lask tried to keep pressing us and made us make errors in the first half. because they gave it a go. they couldnt keep that up. similar to Wolves last weekend.
Even in the second half they were caught whether to keep going forward or drop off.. they did attack but that left spaces for us to run into. if they had of sat back would have meant we'd have pressed them very deep and they wouldnt be able to get out

Im guessing now teams will just sit off us in first half of games because they cant match us over 90+ minutes. so ball retention will be vital going forward and more quality in the final 3rd will be required
