Macca is class but I’m still not convinced he’s a 6. I think we are at 13-0 on aggregate now in second half of games this season.

I'd rather have him as an 8 personally, but can see that he is capable of vertical passes that could help us transition from deep-lying positions into counters.

Hasn't got the raw pace for recoveries should we be turned over but presumably Klopp feels he can give us something from that deeper-lying position that is a net win overall despite the weakness - similar to the trade-off of Trent's attacking ability further forward in the past versus the space left behind that Henderson used to try to cover.
