Catastrophic failure to award a goal!
Everyone involved in the match officialdom must have known.
Why did they not correct the error within seconds.
That is if you believe their response.
Don't worry they'll be back at top games in a few weeks too

VAR was not in place then.
    Now we have a system.
People are involved to come to a decision quickly and correctly.
    What happened?
    A goal was disallowed?
    Ref said yes/no?
    VAR said yes/no?
Match carried on with goal not given.
Ultimately after less than a minute VAR said goal was good according to their spiel , and at that very time, but no correction made!
    Why not?

Exactly. No way that's happening. A can of worms that needs to stay sealed.

And so carry on just the same?
I would like to see the communications published between all the match day authorities (and any statements from connected witnesses too) with reference to that disallowed goal.
    It stinks!

Liverpool have asked the PGMOL for the audio with regard to Dias goal.

    Am I right.
When Var get involved after a “goal” has been scored…
    1. Are there 2 different graphics that come up on the VAR screen ?
    One being…Goal ..checking for offside.
The second being “ disallowed goal…checking for offside”
    2. From the replays I have seen , the latest on “ ref watch”. The wording on the graphic was “ disallowed goal checking for offside “. If that is correct then surely it blows out the water PGMOL claim that the VAR thought the goal had been given?

    3. Just who presses the button to send the VAR message to the big screen. I am guessing but assume it is the assistant VAR. If he chose to send the message “ disallowed goal checking for offside” then there was not only a total mixup between VAR and the ref but also between the VAR and his assistant.

This stinks and the failure of VAR not to make available the audio from the time they tried ( again ) to get away with an apology defies belief.
I am pretty sure that this has a long way to run and the longer PGMOL prevaricate then the more suspicious it becomes.

what about the game at Tottenham 2 seasons ago when Kane nearly snapped Robertsons leg in two and the non penalty on Jota?? that game was pretty corrupt. but this one is even worse.
How can you have 2 games like that and think the game is not corrupt?? seriously IT IS. its pretty pathetic to say the least.

John Aldridge was on (I think) 5 Live this morning. He said that all the refs are supposed to declare which team they support, for obvious reasons. He said that the vast majority of them say they support a non league club. So in other words it gives then a free range of all the prem games. He said he didn't believe that so many of these refs growing up as football mad young lads didn't support big teams.
