Double 6, sounds like it a finishing number to win a game of darts!

Mac Allister is doing just fine at No6

Gravenberch looks to be getting up to speed nicely too

Mac is a nicker of the ball who doesn't dive in, he occasionally doesn't put his foot in strong enough and is better when our overall press and counter press is better, worth noting he is nicking the ball right across the line, which is still a vast improvement on Fab who wasn't ever anywhere near players released in wide areas

Been banging on about a double pivot my whole life Think this Trent moving into a double 6 position suxballs

MacA has done excellently so far imo, great off the ball stats for tackles & intercepts. 4.3 combined per game. VVD 3.2 & Robbo 2.9 next best. That's a mean left side, MacA left in a double pivot.

Sobozla on statistics is the most attacking of our young new recruits for midfield. On Right Wing forward & Right Midfield records, he's miles ahead of anyone in the squad - except Salah of course. Sobozla would be the 10 of the 3 new young mids and best Salah replacement in the squad presently.

My first nemory of seeing this Gravenb is for LFC Probably saw him play for Ajax but don't recall him. Definitely worth a shout as the right side of our pivot alongside MacA.

For me I'd have our shape more 442 than 4231

    Alisson
    Trent* Konate VVD Robbo
    Szoboszla Gravenb MacA Diaz
    Salah Núñez

    244 pressing shape

    Alisson
    Konate VVD
    Trent Gravenb MacA Robbo
    Salah Szoboszla Núñez Diaz

    In 4231

    Alisson
    Trent Konate VVD Robbo
    Gravenb MacA
    Salah Szoboszla Diaz
    Núñez

The issue I have with Mac, like Fab before him is he gets himself too high when in postion and is bolloed when trying to get back. He has nor the pace, nor the athleticism to recover.

It might be tactical, as Fab was guilty of it as well. But it's certainly an issue we've had for the last few years.

He must of had his good eye shut when Mac lost the ball for their goal.

Doing just fine? Really. You'd be happy to see him there for the rest of the season?
