Prior to tonights results, I had convinced myself that City and Arsenal needed to stay in the Champions League, so that they would both have a massive Semi-final head to head to deal with, which may well have affected their subsequent performances in the league.

So to say I am torn with tonights result is an understatement, because now I am worried that being knocked out of the Champions League tonight may well go on to steel City’s and Arsenals resolve in the league….

Fingers crossed hopefully Chelsea can dick City this weekend in the FA Cup and maybe just maybe, as a result they will actually start lose a little bit of self-belief, and Arsenal’s disappointment over tonights result may adversely affect their league form too, but to say I am clutching at straws is a massive understatement… 🤣

All of the above assumes we can can actually regain our Mojo in front of goal, starting tomorrow night and then can go on to a fantastic 6 game winning free scoring finish to the season in the league and a successful Europa Cup campaign, resulting in a memorable end of the season…. more straw clutching methinks ... lol!! 🤣
