    Wataru Endo

Couldn't see a thread on the lad - apologies if there is one, the pages are so congested with LFC Click threads with 0 replies in them that there's a lot to wade through and threads are easier to miss.

Thought that was an excellent performance. He looks to have good fitness, he looked mobile and he is very tenacious. Great header too.

He does have a tendency to go to the ball to deal with issues, akin to a Mascherano-lite. A nitpick would be that if he over-commits and that press is beaten, we can be exposed against better sides.

Still! Very happy with that performance. I'd actually like to see that desire to win the ball back exploited in one of our remaining Europa group games via seeing him deployed as more of an 8 than a 6 - just to see if it works!

He had a good game. Few times he was in a tight spot and managed to pick out a really good pass to get us going forward quickly.
    Great header too.

I thought he was great last night, albeit against a pretty average side. He deserves the opportunity to play 90 minutes against Forest in my honest opinion. Mac Allister on the bench.

Just seems a bit lightweight for a top level 6

He gives my Lucas Leiva vibes. Nothing complicated/flash, just goes about his business.

We dont need all of our midfielders to be goalscorers / assist machines.

I don't think he is lightweight. He is difficult to get off the ball. He plays textbook DM.

The match commentator was very complimentary of him during the match. Saying he watched alot of him last season and he impressed him every time. Its better hearing that, than him saying he's no good.
