For the prem... very much a milner role I think, without being able to play LB/RB

not saying he's shit but he's not going to win us the league or anything or be a main starter, rather him play than Jones at DM though etc..

can't complain considering we got him cheap.. cheap these days anyway

We have acquired multiple players that could be described as mobile, tenacious and capable of playing it out - as much as I want a "top level 6" as you put it, I am beginning to wonder if Klopp merely wants a number of options in there who can all do everything pretty well rather than specialists who do certain things exceptionally well - much, much too early to say mind.

Curious to see if January business (Andre?) occurs and how Bajcetic is placed in the pecking order upon return.

Most of our midfield options look "good" or better - nice problem to have, particularly if we acquire another.

Do hope that Thiago Alcantara has one last "thanks for the memories" performance in him before the season is out - would be nice if he could boss a Europa League semi-final or help us see a game out against Man City - something like that.

So you don’t believe we really bid £100m for Brighton’s 6 then?

If our team press and counter press is worked on more to get to the levels we need it to be, we just don't need a traditional DM especially as almost none of them have the required passing ability

What do you think the whole Caicedo debacle was all about then, a smoke screen?

Endo deserves a few chances in the league when we arent playing shite.
You could argue alex mac shouldnt be playing either as he gives the ball away so much for the role hes suposed to be playing. Endo had not.

Caicedos agent used us. Not a lot was happening between Chelsea and Brighton and his agent was getting itchy fingers to make some dough.
So gave our club the inkling Caicedo was interested in coming here.(otherwise we wouldn't have even got involved)
We put on hold the Lavia deal because we focused on Caicedo. and in the end we lost out on both.
thats how i perceived the incident to be.
