Who was on VAR duty for that Newcastle goal?

That's been my argument all along. They're supposed to be refereeing in the biggest league in the world. You'd think that would be enough work plus they've also European football to go too.
I'd say that twat Clattenburg has something to do with all this, didn't he bugger off there a few years ago. I joked at the time saying They're getting a bit of cash in hand work, that actually could be true.

The brown envelope was signed sealed delivered.
Regardless whether the ball was in or out, regardless whether Linton hand balled the ball, regardless if the goal was offside, the Joel Linton contact on Gabriel was as clear as day a foul simple as….
If that challenge was on a striker in a box it would be given as a penalty, anywhere outside of the box its a foul and a yellow card…simples.
Apparently both of Jota’s tackles in the Spurs game were both clear fouls and a yellow card, and yet Joel Linton’s challenge wasn’t.. laughable.
Rashfords pull back from the bye line against was clearly out according to VAR and cancelled out a goal for UTD, but in the Arsenal game yesterday, this was not clear if it was out ….really…
The pull back on Rodri was a foul and therefore a penalty last week, but this challenge by Joel Linton wasn’t…. really,
Wolves again have suffered a ground hog day VAR error and suffered because the Refs and VAR. have failed to see a player simulating contact to win a penalty..
The standard of analysis by all the officials at the moment, is simply just off the scale poor…
Man City must be loving VAR this season..l
Arsenal want 'urgent' PGMOL action on refereeing after Newcastle VAR controversy
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67327651
"Arsenal have called for "urgent" action on refereeing standards as the club backed Mikel Arteta's comments following the 1-0 Premier League defeat at Newcastle.
Gunners boss Arteta said the decision to allow Newcastle's goal was "embarrassing" and a "disgrace".
Three areas around Anthony Gordon's goal were checked by the video assistant referee."
why do Man-city get everything? they got a soft penalty on Rodri, yet Virgil literally got hauled to the floor..
dont think either should have been given. But they do get more than the rest of the teams in the league
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
Totally agree, How Rodri GOT such a soft penalty in the Derby is an absolute mystery other than it was for City, and at the other end of the scale, how Van Dyjk DIDN’T get a penalty for the WWE challenge is even more of a mystery …
VAR are shooting themselves in the foot at every match and tbh….its becoming a bloody laughing stock and something has to change and fast.
yep, on fairness the foul on Rodri shouldnt have been given. But it was. there in lies the issues..
we didnt deserve anything yesterday and got away with the draw. But a penalty there would have helped. But over all. certain teams get more favours. Its the same reason Rodri gets away with constant fouling. its because hes being favoured. It was the same with Wayne Rooney. he constantly used the f word at referees. And nothing was done.
