    Your team V Brentford

    Allison

Trent VVD Konate Gomez.. ( actually made some good tackles obviously less good going forward) But tskimas is.. well we need to improve with depth @ back.. well quality.

    Gravenberch

    Szoboszlai Elliot

    Salah Gakpo Diaz

Mac Allister is banned after 5 yellows already, not sure if Jones will be back?

Elliott seems better as an impact sub.

Agree Elliott doesn’t seem to do it when he starts.

Glad MacAllister will miss this one, only way Klopp will try something else.

If he persists with Mac at 6 it will cost us massively this season.

He's always ahead of the ball on turnovers and is as slow as it gets in recovery.

He was brought in to replace Thiago, but unfortunately he's not half the player Thiago is.

Thiago's injury problems are a damn shame.

Endo should be given a chance in the league.

Maybe Endo starts this one then if not Elliot... just think he deserves a start at home

I will have popcorn at the ready for the 11.30am team announcement when Mac Allister is playing against Man City because he served his ban against Brentford.

That's a horrible thought him being the DM V city..... well playing city away is a horrible thought after Luton away today...

Doku is going to ruin us. (Great player and signing by city BTW) Only twenty-one, shame he's gone there.

Surely endo is a much better fit, or even bajcetic if he trains before then. Unbelievable how macallister wasn't subbed 2day

I'd quite like to see us try a different set-up entirely for the Man City match if possible. But with the game right after an international break that seems terribly unlikely.

Doubt Bajcetic will be dropped in against Man City. Endo is a maybe but his inclination to "go and get" the ball might see gaps left in behind him.

It will be a difficult match - pretty much always is. I have no expectations so any point or points is a bonus - more focused on trying to get more of the OTHER 108 points available in games that aren't Man City v Liverpool games than what they manage - which is incredibly difficult as we know.

Still, they HAVE lost 2 games in the League so we have to hope.

Beating them would make up for dropping pts against luton.. at least

It's why I said we needed 6 pts from luton away and brentford and home, and to be honest 95% of people would have expected it.
