A win here guarantees that we reach the knock-out stages.

    Get it done lads.

So we’re missing Gravenberch, Jones, Bajcetic and Thiago from our midfield?

    Grief.

We've still got Szobo, Elliott, MacAllister and Endo. Plus we could always push Trent into midfield.
    Nothing to worry about.

Not worried but it does underline why we need such a big squad to compete

Also have the "emergency option" of using someone like Gakpo in there - goes without saying that we shouldn't utilise that option very often, but I really don't mind the (occasional) use of intelligent footballers in positions that aren't their first choice - especially in a situation like this where we have 2 other matches as a safety net if we don't get the desired result and where we clearly have the better side.

It's only when you have to resort to such options against Man City in the League or against a good side in a Cup quarter-final, or utilise someone out-of-position for multiple games etc that it's a problem.

If we want to rest Szoboszlai here then the obvious midfield would be Endo, Mac Allister (as an 8 rather than a 6 to see how that goes) and Elliott - admittedly a midfield that lacks in physical stature but we should have a lot of the ball.

Jones should be back after the international break (low Grade hamstring issue) and Gravenberch certainly will be - possibly even available for Brentford fingers crossed.
