With regards the injury to Jota, I was wondering did anyone else feel like me at the time and after watching a playback, feel that the player in question fell on Jota with intent rather than by accident. It just looked like a dead drop onto to Jota to me, rather than a player trying to soften his fall with an outstretched arm etc….

If I am being honest, the players actions on Saturday looked similar to that of Partey on Diaz last season…which Ivalso suspected was deliberate rather than accidental.

I might be seeing something that isnt there, but I would be interested in hearing others view on the same incident.

Always the same when teams play us. they set out to maim us when contact is made. we use to stand off challenges before

Yeah that's the one I saw. I'd probably take that scenario to be honest.

He spends half the season injured, harsh but what's new?

Brilliant when fit, not the toughest of players, like quite a few we've had.

He only stayed fit in 2021-2022

It's why I wouldn't want neto his pace on the counter would be incredible, but will miss half the season.

So bleeding frustrating having so many players made of biscuits, but at the same time it’s playing heavy metal every season plays It’s toll. Bloody typical were falling apart right now when we need our best 11 fit.

Was doing well this season in fairness compared to last.

If he wasn't so clinical and good this season I'd say replace him but that's not the case.
