Really happy with fortunate 3 points, but we staggered over the line.
    This is Jurgens way .
We need open games against open teams. The sloppy passes tend to get through, but against tight hard working teams the passes are not happening.
Tonight was far , far too easy and we were much too complacent , lazy, and disorganized.
However, much respect to Sheffield (a really poor squad) they out fought, out contested every challenge, and made us hurry our passes.
We have too many goodish players who are not quite good enough for a world class team.
We also have a backroom staff who seemingly do not see what the general consensus on here see week in week out.
That I really do worry about.

Agree with most that's already been said. We're a tough watch against the league makeweights. Motd is full of calamity defending from the makeweights. Never when we play them though. Too easy to come up with a gameplay to counter our style of play. A pity coz this could be a season too far for City. If only arsenal could get a few key injuries

Thought Konate was excellent alongside VVD. Won lots of headers and made lots of tackles and interceptions.

By hook or by crook. A batting performance.

Thought Endo was motm. He's a scrappy little bastard but knows his surroundings.

    The forwards were rubbish tonight.

He's not looked the same since his long layoff.
