What do we do with Darwin?

Two things.

One is to bring him on (rather than start him) in games that might be congested. Full disclosure, I did want Núñez to start today over Gakpo so I can hardly harp on about that.

Another we could try is using him on the left or right and mix the front three up a bit.

Diaz and Salah are marvellous footballers, but both like to cut inside and that does create certain issues as it allows an opposition back four to keep the gaps tighter. Núñez has the pace to burn past someone and hug the chalk, which can create a gap for a full-back or one of the 8s, whilst also freeing up another player to be the central focal point. If he isn't scoring, why not utilise his pace?

Agree Klopp needs to realize that hisvtools are different than before. Same way he crafted a way to suit Firmino/Salah he has to do it with Nunez. He or Gakpo has to be made the main piece and build around their game. I would be tempted to switch Salah and Diaz to play as wingers on their strong side. Looking to cross more. As I think this will suit both Gakpo or Nunez. Or play Mo as a 10 and sign a proper unit as a 6. Still play Trent as a overlapping RB where he was so much more dangerous. He is good as a midfielder but I hate this inverted full back crap. These are just fancy things as you still have 11 players on the park and someone is going to be where a RB would be just not your RB cause he is now a 6 so your 9 is now at wing etc.
