A Chelsea final would surprise nobody and I would rather have had Chelsea over two legs than the lottery of a Final, but sod it - let's see!

Real opportunity to win a record TENTH League Cup and I hope we grab it - would inspire so much confidence for the rest of the season and get a lot of the newer lads hungry for trophies - not to mention adding to the Champion's Wall which is always massive.

Excuse me - I can’t speak today. sang my heart out. Shame so few others around me felt like joining in very often. Kop and top of new Anfield road and a smattering in the SKD pretty much all there was, Nothing from Main stand behind Jurgen.

Klopp makes a great point. If you aren’t up to it / want to sit there like you are watching Coronation Street,.. Give ticket to someone who can’t get a ticket but will support the team.

Yep - it’s clear how diluted the die hard fans have become in the modern game as a whole - but it is particularly pronounced at Anfield now. The limitation of 61,000 due to lacking local infrastructure and the need to maximise revenue is hitting the best, most unique and most supportive fans around.
