Keith Hacket ex Premier League Ref, has summed up the Endo decision perfectly and just re-iterated my thoughts once the goal was disallowed.

Whilst Endo was technically in an offside position under the old rules, however under the current rules he cannot be judged offside unless he engages in the subsequent attack from this position. Endo did no such thing, he simply held his ground and stood still, which by the way he is quite entitled to do, the back four then dropped to cover for the crossed ball and Virgil was attacking the ball, won the header cleanly despite Chilwell trying to rip his shirt off and scored a perfectly legitimate goal.

The decision to disallow the goal may have had some merit if Colwill was clearly denied the opportunity to clear the ball because Endo had moved deliberately moved in a manner to obstruct his ability to clear the cross. Neither was the case, all Endo did was simply stand his ground and besides Colwill was too far away to even challenge Virgil, it was clear that it was Chilwell marking Virgil impact Virgil’s header..and he failed miserably.

It’s even more laughable that VAR saw fit to get involved in this situation, and yet failed to intervene in the Caicedo challenge on Gravenberch which was as much of a red card as was the Curtis Jones challenge was in the famous Spurs match at the start of the season.

Also, how can Caicedo who committed several yellow and one possible red card offence, resulting in two of our players ending the day being injured and having to wear protective boots… failed to recive one yellow card, and yet Bradley who was hauled to the ground by Chilwell and quite rightly confronted him about it, was then subsequently booked, just beggars belief that a Mancunian Ref could be so biased… towards a Liverpool player…

Finally, I am sorry, but how the yellow card account was 4 to Liverpool and only 2 to Chelsea is further proof of the scandalous manner in which this match was refereed, fucking shocking…

Howard Webb you need to be sacked, because ultimately these are your guys here who are failing massively…its a fucking joke.

Agree with all of this. I don't think I've ever seen a goal disallowed for what Endo did yesterday.
VOTE JOCKY tae fix this fiasco.

What Endo did, standing his ground, will be replicated in just about every other game from now until the end of time. Without being punished.
Shame the highlights are only on ITV, which means the incident will not be looked at with any intensity.
PGMOL will not face any scrutiny for their inconsistency, possible bias, and subjective corruption.

Keith Hackett and Mark Clattenburgh have both agreed that the disallowed goal by VAR was flimsy at best and a very poor interpretation of the rules, but unfortunately the VAR official was John Brooks, another official that has history with Klopp, so its no surprise really, at least they are being consistently biased… ffs..

Following on from one of our favourite Manchester refs on Sunday, another favourite Paul Tierney, will take charge against forest on Saturday. Soooooo predictable. They're trying arn't they?

Atwell on VAR alongside our favourite lino who elbowed Robertson in the face and got away with it....

So there it is. Got to beat 12 men plus Stockley Park again....

As it was Kavanagh last weekend and Tierney this weekend I'm fully expecting Wyhenshawe's Anthony Taylor to get the game against City. In plain sight.....

I see United scored the winner from a very similar situation to the goal that was chalked off for Virg.

Let’s see if Howard Webb discusses any of these in his next mic’d up program.

Are they trying to turn supporters off mens football so they watch the women's game instead?

Wow… the amount of column inches and podcast comments given to the late goal at Forest is just beyond belief, anyone would think there was a clear offside given in the build up and VAR awarded the goal in error, rather than a shit Ref making a shit decision during a game.

The same ref I might add who has made lots of mistakes which ultimately it could be argued have cost us League titles in the past, but none of these costly mistakes in the past haven’t had half of the coverage this drop ball error has had…

But more importantly the silence is deafening regarding the incident that actually led to Konate’s injury, the Forest players Kung Fu kick on Konate’s head was worthy of a red card in itself, but neither the linesman or the ref has spotted it and VAR which forensically spotted the Endo non-foul, clearly decided that this challenge like the Gravenberch tackle was also not worthy of punishment…

This level of incompetence just beggars belief, the non award of a free kick to Liverpool fir this reckless tackle was a far bigger mistake than the one Tierney made with the drop ball, Konate was lucky he didnt suffer a greater injury ….

Oh yes and the media have also decided that this reckless challenge on Konate was not worthy of comment either, it does make you think that there are dark forces at play here… just incredible…
