Not far wrong tbf. As long as we can be in the tie for the trip daan saaff - we should be fine. Fulham gave us a torrid time just a few weeks ago though. Could argue they deserved at least a point that day. A good atmosphere at Anfield will help but we are well short of players right now. Can we risk going even close to our current strongest available lineup?

Apparently the reason VAR was not used in the semi - finals is because

Middlesbrough ground is not equipped for VAR,so as a result of fairness to all other

teams it was decided to scrap it for all games.

    Can't blame them.

The counter of course is Anfield, mid-week, semi-final, under the lights.

One big performance from our lads and then 11 days that eats into the time of certain lads returning from injury, plus an opportunity for Klopp to prep the younger players who are definitely going to have to step in and cover for one or 2 spots as we continue our process of using the 5 subs to keep the squad as fresh as possible.

Good game tonight. Fancy my lineup to get the job done and take a lead back to their place.

Too many missing players plus the narrow victory in our league match suggests this may not be a good night for us.

Klopp knows what he's doing. Needed Nunez in the end to turn things around.
