Again Diaz poor there, he no longer even has the beating of an average full back he’s got so out of practice at trying to & playing on the shoulder in this new set up

All Diaz does is drops off, makes nothing pretty enough passes that aren’t going to hurt anyone and the full back pushes right into him and bullies him and makes us easier to press, we need so very much more than that, it’s lame, as fuck

Elliott has been given so many chances to start but he’s terrible when he does. Not sure who was worse him or Gravenberch in that half, absolutely shocking.

Virgil doesn’t look to have recovered from his illness.

All in all, the usual poor all round first half from us. Pity we gave that sloppy goal away.

I don't know what was the 'illness' that Virgil had to miss the arsenal game but I have never seen him get so many headers wrong as tonight. Three or four times his heading is all over the place. i wonder if he has got a virus or something.

I know hes only 21. but theres something in Gravenberch that i dont find appealing. he needs to show more intent.. all he is. is legs and thats it. Elliot is no Salah.

Never looked like scoring in that half. Changes needed for sure.
Elliott and Gravenberch don't take their chances when given starts, they can have no complaints about being on the bench all the time. Especially Gravenberch, he's done very little since he arrived.

On performances last season & this & what his continued inclusion cost us last season is hook Elliott for Nunez move Diaz to RFWD and see what Gravenberch can produce with those driving runs he makes with forwards in front of him who will make runs in behind and attack their defenders
