He's too ponderous on the ball at times but on the plus side makes alot of vertical passes. There's a player in there somewhere but he'll have to develop.

Agreed , I think he has the raw attributes to be great but Klopp will have to work at his game with him. He’s postive with his passes but he seems to take too long

Some one said on here the other day that gravenberch touch is not great , there have been some disappointing parts of his game but his first touch is impeccable.

He was gash in the first leg mate. No point denying it, Touch was Sunday league and Anfield groans were evident. He could score a worldly tonight and it still won’t make that showing any better,

Hopefully he plays more often like he has tonight - where he has looked miles better - Fulham have been cery passive tbf

You need to keep a back-up keeper motivated.

Not just Kelleher, but think of whoever succeeds him - if we are bidding for a keeper and they know they can come here, get games and be "properly" involved in winning a Cup, it's a serious carrot.

Yea no I’m not disputing that mate , he wasn’t great at all , but his touch in tight situations is exceptional , just feel the rest of his game can’t get going , it’s frustrating watching him at the mo

You're not alone.

Generally Klopp sides (before Liverpool too) have more "zip" from February-to-May and it will be due to how he and his staff condition the players.

We're getting a hint of how the latter months of the season are going to go and so far, so good.

Half-time and we got the early goal, took the sting out of the crowd and haven't conceded.

This is exactly the sort of professional performance I would have wanted. If we get another goal (without reply) before the 65th minute, avoid injuries and manage to make a few subs I would call it perfect - and we haven't needed to get anywhere near 4th or 5th gear to do it as of yet.

Without a doubt. Just at the right time in the season as well .
