Quick question...does Alonso play with a back three?
Amorim was apparently not considered due to that. I wonder if Alonso might have had issues with that if he did intend to be considered for the job.

Exclusively this year and 3421 mostly. Would have offered a solution to the Trent issue, simply playing him rwb/right of a Midfield 4.

I think the Trent issue may have been caused by our ceasing to use our full backs to the best of their abilities and him wanting to be more involved, he & Robbo both seemed more productive & to enjoy playing further forward again v Spurs
