Me too, his afternoons team look more like Liverpool of 18-20 with some of 21-22 thrown in than we do

I don’t forget that, I always thought we needed mids who could do what the 18-20 lads did but had more in passing & creativity & shooting when they were in the positions we needed that

Were not going to get a mid who will create as many chances as our attacking g full backs did

I hope Slot tells Trent it’s back to the future & he’s going to be an attacking full back for him none of this inverted full back nonsense

He creates far less playing that inverted full back role, his making the play from the right with switches & diagonals & regularly getting forward to cross or switch or dink a diagonal over the far CB from inside of wide positions deep ir advanced is just a miles better use of his abilities & if greater benefit to the team

yeah, ive said all this, he was world class playing on the right going forward. his whole position ruins the team.. Konata gets slated. because hes having to watch 2 positions. hes gonna get caught now and then.
Hopefully our new manager tells him NO. we dont want players dictating formations

It started together with Trent agitating to play midfield when Jurgen took the bizarre step of fucking off the Trent Mo Hendo triangle & putting an ever worse than present Elliott in Hendo’s place who stopped a lot working getting in Mo & Trent’s space rather than helping them manipulate the space
