Ulla having a word in Jurgen’s ear & him having a change of heart is the best outcome

In terms of squad & style of play & development of certain desirable attributes it is an absolute gift for any manager who wants to continue & build on the current way of playing

It’s up to all the players & crowd to continue with the intensity they’ve been taught to play at

De Zerbi is getting a rough ride from some he just lost Mac Allister who is top top class and the lad who went to Chelsea who was brilliant at Brighton He lost Undev (spell) also who was a great contributor from the bench his 2 9’s are Wellbeck & Ferguson

Klopp is not changing his mind. And if he did we wouldn't be getting the same Klopp.

I think everyone needs to remain acutely aware of THE major error we made that saw us on the fringes for 25 years when we last replaced a great

We appointed a manager who rather than looking to advance the successful players & style of play he inherited tried to reinvent the wheel

Then we appointed another ‘who knew the club’ who played that God awful back 3

And we went on and on with mistake after
Mistake as the filthy have been doing the same until Klopp arrived

We have a winning style of play we have a group of top senior players great young players and emerging youth players all tuned and honed to playing this way

Well, as you say, we have a great group of players. So unless the next Manager is an egomaniac and an idiot, there won't be wholesale personnel changes.

As to formation/style, some will have concerns about a back-three, particularly if Alonso arrives. It is however worth mentioning that until his last season with Real Sociedad B Xabi used a 4-2-3-1 and a 4-3-3 so us going to a back three under him (if he comes) isn't necessarily a given.

Someone coming in and continuing the best aspects of our set-up whilst making minor tweaks will hopefully yield further success.

We need a Manager who will play attacking football but knows how to be tactical. Doesn't have a big ego "fights with players" type, But must be someone who has won something in my view (Xabi Alonso only exception because he will be loved and given time) trophies in Netherlands/Scotland level doesn't count.

Klopp will be a very tough act to follow.

Anyone looking at where we were i. 2015 before he arrived could be forgiven for much trepidation.

Alonso will probably have won a League by the end of this season, but we will see.

Amorim guided Sporting to a double of the Taça da Liga and the Primeira Liga in.....ai think it was 20/21 - which signified the end of a 19-year League title drought.

Both remain my two main picks.

Is Amorim perceived as a good man manger?
Does he have English language issues?
What kind of relationship does he have with media?

I hope we get our man whoever that may be.
Slightly worried that Chelsea, Man U and Newcastle might also be thinking about a new manager to take them up to the top table
