No - there is no replacing him, per se.
However someone was going to succeed him at one stage, as Shankly was succeeded, as Paisley was succeeded, as Fagan was succeeded, as Houllier was succeeded, as Rafa was succeeded.
The next Manager will inherit a squad with five excellent forwards, 4 of whom are under-30.
They'll inherit a really nice blend of midfielders.
They'll inherit great defensive options, including a wonderful local talent and arguably the World's best centre-back.
They'll inherit the World's best Goalkeeper.
They'll inherit some exciting youth talent.
Anyone will be a downgrade from Klopp, but equally that doesn't mean we are going to automatically fall off a cliff either - this isn't a squad where we pick out a side of N'gog, Jovanovic, Meireles, Shelvey, Spearing, Johnson, Poulsen, Konchesky etc
There isn't a Manager out there are perfect for us as Jürgen, but I don't think we are without options - what Manager WOULDN'T want to take on this squad full of talent, with a nice average age and good depth?

Xabi’s Leverkusen drew 0-0 with Monchenglasbach this evening despite having 67% possession with 27 attempts 8 on target and an XG of 2.87.

But it was a great game to watch, Leverkusen play an exciting possession based game, as opposed to City's possession style for example, which bores you to death.And they are pressing monsters. It was just one of those games where one team play with a packed box.
I think Xabi Alonso would be a great fit for our current squad.

If it were up to me (it isn't, thankfully - what a responsibility) then it's Xabi Alonso.
High-line, energetic football.
Leverkusen are always associated with being a "nearly" side akin to Napoli, associated with being naive and flakey like Spurs historically - and he has brought a sense of order and discipline to the club whilst Leverkusen fans are still happy with the style of the football.
I don't expect him to come in and win the League in his first season, but I feel he could keep us in the Champion's League spots at least and then we can grow from there. He has technical and tactical acumen and he gets involved in training - and has the skill to back that up.
It "feels" right. Whether or not it is, we'll see.

That's a fair assessment. I don't watch Leverkusen so will have to do some research.
