We were for the longest time rumoured to be interested in taking him even before he went to Real.

Then he did that silly thing that young players do in getting tempted by that Real Madrid shirt, only to find himself not getting any playing time at all and before long permanently relegated to their "B" team before a loan deal to Sociedad from where Arsenal got him from, first on loan and then permanently.

I think Klopp liked him too and would have gone for him had he not chosen Madrid, and he would have been a much better player playing under Klopp than in Real's reserve side and on loan.

10-15 but if players improve then even longer. The change I would make is Robbo and Nunez. Robbo for Trent/Gomez/Grav if it is the latter shift Trent up to midfield.

I would take Gakpo and Gravenberch off as that right side of our midfield has been shocking, put Trent into midfield switch Gomez and get Robbo on…..
