He is fine in possession against mid-table sides etc but he is not yet at the level for a match like this, particularly without the ball. Isn't good in the air despite his height and doesn't quite have the work-rate.

Such a shame Szoboszlai couldn't be played today.

Still. If we can reach half-time and keep it at 1-0, we have 45 minutes where we can hopefully have improved football, get an equaliser before the 80th and then push hard.

Shoddy half but we have had plenty of those this season and still managed a result, so can't yet give up.

Yeah he just jogs around mostly, hit the short pass now and then, loses possession, jigs some more. Tall is about the only attribute I see so far.

    Conor's really missed out there.

Condolences to his family, of course.

We are playing way too conservatively

I would take HT at 1:0 right now

We're just giving them the ball back constantly. We can't hold onto it at all.

This midfield isn’t handling Arsenal’s press well

Midfield - Mac doing well - Jones decent - Gravenberch - invisible

I can't see Gravenberch making it for the second half. Elliot surely comes on for him.

Yes but Arsenal will hardly fret at that
