Physical bunch they are too. But we can’t be made of glass. Pretty certain the huge amount of injuries & player absence (missed games across the key 15/16 within the squad) since that title win - are down to the high intensity style of play. Klopp ball. There is a reason we are so popular as a viewing spectacle.

Many of us - myself included are putting a brave face on it but the squad looks all but broken…. again…We are beyond threadbare.

3rd time in 4 seasons too. You could say winning the title almost killed us & that attempting the quad finished us off.

New crop of mids a full year later and a new suite up top - and we are unable to get continuity still.

Jota was unfortunate (although it’s a theme) but look at the list of all the others. Muscle injury madness. It’s official - the style of football needed to make us competitive, is simply unsustainable. Certainly at a club that wants to fight at the top end & for the big prizes operating on a mid table budget.

Yeah wouldn't be so bad if we wasn't under a mid-table club owners... tbf that's how city can do it and some other teams.

Next season will be different, so hopefully less injury's jota concerns me, he couldn't really help what happened but the injurys over last of his 4 seasons.. all but 1 have been hell of a lot of games missed.
