We need to put a marker down on Thursday night. A proper hammering would send the fear into both Arsenal and City camps.
Plus it would set us up nicely for Old Trafford as they'll do everything to try and wreck our chances of the league.

If we were to get something like -

    - 6 wins
    - 2 draws
    - 1 loss

    - then we'd land on 87* points. As it stands Arsenal can attain 92 points and Man City can get 91 - do we foresee two slip-ups from both sides?

I can foresee the navigation of the Champion's League being an issue for both sides and I certainly anticipate one instance of points dropped for both teams (maybe a draw rather than a loss) but not sure that BOTH will slip up in 2 games.

*Not necessarily saying we will slip up in 3 games, just presenting a scenario as all 3 sides have dropped points in (roughly) a third of their matches*
Difficult to predict obviously but City certainly have the easier run in. Could easily see them winning 7 and drawing 2.
I think Arsenal have the tougher run but only marginally, ours is rough too like we said about players returning it could be massive. Both City and Arsenal are not waiting on three world class players like Trent,Ali and Jota returning. Also Jones who has played a great part this season.
It's definitely going to go to the last day I think.

    Thoughts....

On average league postion there's not much between our respective opponents.

On PPG there's no much between us.

On results v these same opponent's earlier this season, our results appear most favourably.
    Haven't bothered with a home/away filter tbh.

    22 points for us = 89 points.
    20 points for asenal = 85 points
    17 points for cituae = 81 points

Suspect it'll be tighter than that

We dropped points against 2 of our remaining opponents, Arsenal against 3 and City 4 (including 2 defeats)

Not quite sure why everyone saying City have an easy run in, none of them are easy

Not meaning you per se tees, just about everyone discussing it is saying it.

If we all slip up once, it’s ours, we have a great chance, of that there is no doubt.

The OPTA Super computer says we’re favourites 47% chance, City 33%, Arsenal 20%.

Win at Utd and I would agree with it.

Does the Opta computer take into consideration the PGMOL and their crooked officials??

Indeed, it said “ despite the efforts of those corrupt twats under Wanker Webb’s stewardship, Liverpool will indeed triumph in the end.”

That OPTA Super computer isn't very accurate.

    LFC 40%, Arsenal & Cituae 30% each
