Phillips was a better CB than Carra ever was too when ppl go on and on about Istanbul & Carra’s shitness & being so out of his league in such a final in all 3 goals to put us 3-0 down always gets glossed over

Was just as good as rodri that season, did drop off even more than Hendo though.....

but the lack of depth and run into the ground not surprised...

He was Never NEVER a midfielder in a million years he was a liability he was good for his first half season in that high destroyer role & carried thereafter Teams constantly targeted him, every manager knew he was reactive often lost his man or didn’t recognise who it was or when he needed to stay with a man and exploited that countless times a few in every game

Both Mac and Endo are mids, they scan, they see what’s on and read and anticipate situations as you expect top midfielders too, Fab NEVER had that he would always blindly charge to where the ball was & never got back when a player got released beyond him

I know what this will be lots of clips of Fan tackling a player his lack of awareness let be released in the first place

Looking at the team now with mids who can pretty much all read it and play a collective press to a really high level Elliott having improved drastically at it to give him due credit & Gravenberch still needing to improve having played in stroller one team in a one team league teams his entire prior career it is even more infuriating that we wasted three season with Fab & Thiago in our line up who couldn’t do the simple basics of it

Like I said countless times & you surely must see with where this teams pressing has reached and that they very rarely need to go to ground ever, if you’re regularly having to throw yourself into tackles YOU ARE NOT DOING IT RIGHT. almost each instance is an example of your poor positioning seeing you have to make a tackle you otherwise wouldn’t need to

The Real loss when Fab just had to stay with Casemiro & rushes to the ball instead leaving the guy he’s rushing towards with a piss easy transition to him Endo Mac Jones Szlobo Elliott McConnell Clarke Gravenberch all stay with him there without a shadow of a doubt every single one of them

To estimate the number of people born since Everton won the FA Cup in 1995, we can use the global birth rate. On average, around 140 million babies are born worldwide each year. So, since 1995, which is approximately 29 years, we can estimate:

    29 years * 140 million babies/year ≈ 4.06 billion babies

Please note that this is a rough estimation and the actual number may vary.

If the law of averages is to be believed, then plenty of people have been doing it on a cold Tuesday night.

    July 1st 2023 8.05 bilion
    July 1st 1995 5.74 billion
    +2.31 bilion over 28 years

Death rate is around 70 million a year excluding 73 million abortions annually, so seems right or there abouts.
