As an aside, this is a perfect weekend for the Doom-and-Gloom crowd.

Our last 10 results in the League against Nottingham Forest are LDDLDLLDLL and our last win at their ground (again, the League, we did prevail in the Cup a few years ago) was actually in 1984!

Oh and Paul Tierney as ref....

With our poor record there (no League win in 30 years) and a Manchester Derby, it's probably Arsenal fans who will be most optimistic this weekend.

I don't think man city are worried too much sid, derby or not

the amount of space they give fulham in midfield when they lost 2-1, at home if they give city a inch of that, they're getting spanked

Yeah as much as Arsenal and ourselves will be crossing fingers for a slip-up, I'd say Man City can expect a comfortable game.

Not necessarily a 4-0 or whatever, but I certainly anticipate them scoring first, having most of the ball and a second goal coming to make it comfortable.

Their catch-up against Arsenal is the one where I have some hope that we get a "favour" but that's a while away yet.

Agree maybe and small maybe if it was their home game. City are going to maul them (De Bruyne/Haaland) United players don't work hard enough of the ball and that is why teams have so much joy against them. There is no cohesion and collective press. Their midfielders are also slow Mainoo is young but not fast, Caseimero, Amrabat and Eriksen are all slow, Mctominay is not tactically aware. Rashford is lazy beyond. So i see City hitting them for 6.

    Szobozlai will probably
feature but I believe Endo is more of a doubt. Mac might also be unwell. Elliott cannot seriously play - the lad needs a break. Maybe a sub but if he starts I think that is poor form from the staff.

Elliotts played 678 minutes this year 2024.
That's 7 and a half games worth of minutes in 2 months
    Or 3.76 games a month

Since mid August till now he's played 1,885 minutes all comps
    251 minutes a month
    2.8 games a month
He's not played a game a week this season on average
