Why on earth do our players get injured so often then take so bloody long to come back??

Medical and conditioning team need to go in the summer it’s absolutely ridiculous

This is based on media reports, so pinch of salt.

Lijnders and another coach iirc strength & conditioning are associated with causing issues for other members of staff. The fighting with Edwards etc... One loss was the club doctor in 2020 iirc then we hired the arsenal guy iirc and our injury record worsened.

Yea he played all 120 minutes on Sunday and was holding the fort as a young lad himself with a team of youths… on Wednesday night.

Starting him today was clearly a huge risk and living on the edge. Cannot afford to lose anyone else to muscle injury,

    Elliott:

    Feb 21 - 90 minutes v Luton

Feb 25 - 120 minutes v Chelsea in the League Cup final @ Wembley

    Feb 28th - 80 minutes v Southampton

290 minutes of football in 8 days & he was a starter today:

    March 2nd - 76 minutes v Forrest

    So….

365 minutes of football in a team flooded with youth in just 10 days!!

No way in hell does Klopp do that unless we are at crisis point and he has no genuine alternative.

Do you think his playing with younger players increases his risk of injury ??

He's had 4 starts, played his first PL 90 minute game of the season and hasn't got injured today as you feared.
