Good to see Elliott and Fabinho being credited with something,

Didn’t fare so great v City a few weeks later though did it.. a 4:1 defeat…. with virtually the same ensemble - just Jota in place of Nunez? Salah did his bit tbf and scored - but the rest…?

Seems things are a little more complicated. 🙄

And when he's not get-ting injured.
He'll cut inside and score for LFC.

The problem with Jota he gets kicked a lot.. i think i recall the incident in the game against Fulham. the challenge was very late.. These challenges rarely happen to City players. because they get more protection

Possibly - but he is injured just so much. It's becoming like Ox, Naby, Thiago.

What use is any player if he can rarely play? I love Jota - a real fan of his goal scoring instincts.. Is he being rushed back, constantly being fouled OR is he just very Sturridge like and delicate..?

Gutted. Was certain he would be banging in a few v the BS

I think Naby was/is just soft. Ox had a few really bad injuries and never really recovered properly from them.Thiago is just prone to injury, mainly muscle related.

With Jota, I just think it's the way he plays. He throws himself into everything, puts his body in harms way in a way and is pretty much running at full pelt all of the time. If the ball is there to be whacked in with a defender/keeper bearing down on him, he wouldn't even flinch!
