For the 1st 11. A decent centre back, striker who can put the ball in the back of the net and a replacement for Salah would be a decent window for me.

We’ve got a good set of lads coming through and hopefully we won’t suffer with the injuries that we have under Klopp.
Not a title challenging set of lads though. There is no steel in the midfield at all. MacAllister is good, Szoboszlai is not shaping up the way he began. Elliot is not a starter, gravenberch is much the same. Endo is great, but in his 30s. If I've missed any names it's because they've done nothing to help me remember them. In front we have a lethal but mostly injured Jota, Salah who won't be here, Diaz, who will be off to the first Spanish club his dad likes the look of. And Nunez.
In defense, Virgil was having a great season until about Feb and Konate and Quansah should be strong and useful if they are protected enough to get confidence back. Robertson isn't the player he was, and Trent still can't defend, leaving us wide open on the right with no real midfield cover.
It's not really a pretty picture at all for next year.

He was really good in the Bobby role, I’ve always said it was a shit idea to ditch it to play Nunez as an out an out No9 & have out two wide forwards drop off so much so they’re playing more like attacking mids that forwards & not using their abilities to their best

Can see where you are coming from 19 but we have created way more chances than anyone else our finishing is just terrible

Yeah but we’re not creating them through sound planned process of system as we used to, it’s all desperately scatter gun & random which is why we keep missing them, get the run wrong, picking the wrong run, playing the wrong pass or playing the right pass poorly & through that we constantly end up without players in good pressing & counter pressing positions if our play breaks down

It doesnt matter how they were created, they simply need to be finished. Some Nunez's finishes have been comical. Even Gakpo's today was horrifically mis-hit.

The amount of chances we've created over the last month is ridiculous. If we'd scored a fraction of them we'd have pissed the League by now and would be getting ready for an FA Cup final.

    All true.
Makes it all the more harder to bear.
Better finishing for next season should see no reason for us to drop off that much. Hopefully not at all and we actually go the other way.

As an aside are our players just fucked tired from pressing that when they get chances fatigue is fucking them up....is it 700 odd chances created this season its a crazy number we are probably sub 15% conversion rate which is terrible

We’re not even pressing & counter pressing too much of the time, we’ve become the ones being pressed by too many

It’s happened at a point in every season since the end of 19-20 we keep trying to be City in 19-20 with the same results, then in every other season have reverted to playing a much better press & counter press & playing more direct again, except for this one with disastrous consequences

More likely tired from chasing sides having given soft goals away through not pressing & counter pressing properly

It’s really fucking annoying because it’s really fucking simple too many players looking to be in space to play a meaningless & pointless nothing pass not enough players picking up great counter press positions when we’re in possession in case our move breaks down
