Wages freed up to sign Mbappe 😁

It would be really nice to have that £100,000 a week we're not getting good value for removed from the outgoings of our club.
Same with the £80,000 a week we spend on Shaqiri - much as I like him, he's rarely available.
Lallana is on £110,000 a week.
Lallana we know is going, but in the event all three went, you're talking about having £290,000 per week removed from the outgoings, which opens up things like improving contracts for existing players to keep them here, instalments towards player purchases, changes in incentivised contracts and so on.
EDIT - not to forget Clyne's £70,000 a week, so that hypothetical figure could be £360,000 per week in "savings" - using that term loosely as it would of course be spent somewhere else.

Haha, how dreamy that would be!
Wijnaldum needs his contract negotiated and (tired and memory fuzzy) Trent and Robertson are currently underpaid unless they got upgrades that I forgot about - sorting those 3 out, plus the frustrating agent fees will definitely be a dent, as will an eventual upgrade on the Alisson contract to keep Real Madrid away, but we should still have something left.
Will be interesting now to see what City do, spending £120m last year didn't win them the League.
United have mis-spent nearly a BILLION since Fergie left and in terms of League finishes (position) aren't much closer than they were.
Chelsea have spent some money, which is essentially the Morata and Hazard money (much like we made use of the Coutinho money) but Lampard's side look as leaky as our 13/14 side and are much too heavily-oriented towards attack. You can't imagine them managing a 1-0 home win in a Champion's League knock-out tie.
Then there's ourselves, who have used pride t spending, group togetherness and high-quality coaching to seemingly outsmart almost everyone, not reducing ourselves to becoming an Oil club, which feels pretty great.
How much closer Chelsea and Man United can get will be an interesting one to watch.
Liverpool plan to extend Dejan Lovren contract until 2022
Liverpool plan to take up an option to extend defender Dejan Lovren's contract by another year and keep him until summer 2022.
The Reds will extend the Croatia international's stay at the club if he is still at Anfield by the end of the summer transfer window.
Russian side Zenit St Petersburg are interested in Lovren but have yet to make contact with the Reds.
The 31-year-old joined Liverpool from Southampton for £20m in July 2014.

Great news, can't wait to see him more next season.
Surely that's just to keep Mo happy
I bet you can squeal like a pig!
Just go out and get koulibaly and stop flirting with each other.
Sell selfish mo and get Mbappe.
Bring Coutinho back and tag along Tiago. Play 12 players in the hope no one notices. We’re golden. Surely we can skip a few legal issues based on how things panned out today.
