Messi has handed in a transfer request....
Hopefully he is coming to us to fight for a starting place

Been linked a lot with Inter, which i find a bit of a strange one. Can you imagine him in a Conte team, getting shouted at all the time for not working hard enough.
Surely it'll be PSG or CIty.
Like a slow paced replacement for David Silva.
But I think City's owners have said that they accept Pep might/will leave at the end of the coming season, so maybe Messi wants to spend his last three years or whatever at something less stressful and at a bit more slow pace (like Italian football)
Funnily enough, this time I'll play the role of CC - this has legs. He's clearly a sentimental fellow and FSG and Nike will bankroll this move to the hilt. We'll make enough to buy another club just off the shirt sales alone. He'll come to the PL and will play for a club he respects and at a ground, the full astonishing power of which he's felt.
And he'll be playing for possibly the best manager in the world, along with the the best CB and possibly wingers in the world. Not to mention the other WC players we have. He'll be hailed as a God anywhere he goes, but at LFC he'll have to earn it. Yeah, I can see this one happening. He'll likely want a huge deal, but instead we'll just give him 200kpw and a bunch of image rights or something.
This has got legs!

Etiam si omnes, ego non
On a slightly more realistic note - Man City or Inter it is then.
